Jo Hodges, Founder and Director of Extraordinary Executive, is a talented executive coach and trusted advisor to senior executives across Australia, including multiple teams at one of Australia’s oldest and largest ASX-listed, diversified financial services company.
Jo has over 20 years corporate business experience in a number of HR, sales, account management, leadership, business development, training and development with top tier companies such as Price Waterhouse Cooper, BP Australia, BP London and the Telstra Corporation.
All of these prestigious and rewarding roles have taught her the importance of effective leadership and engaged employees in supporting a company’s higher vision and powering up their profits. Jo’s intense passion for people and ability to tap into their true potential has allowed her to deliver invaluable personal and professional results for her clients.
I’ve always had an insatiable curiosity in what inspires people
to perform at their best. I coach professionals, executives, women in business and corporate teams to use the power of extraordinary executive presence, become high
performing, impactful leaders that shape the companies of the future.
Before launching The Extraordinary Executive, Jo ran a successful image consulting business, The Style Adviser, guiding and empowering individuals to build a strong personal brand through a unique personal style, powerful presence and strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Jo now uses her personal styling and image consulting experience to help leaders dress for success, match their corporate image with their capabilities and help talented professionals show up ready for the game with the executive image that says “top leader”. She also helps women dress for success at all stages of their life and professional career.
Jo is also a DISC Advanced Accredited Consultant, a Certified Image Professional by the Academy of Professional Image (AOPI), a member of the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) and has a Certificate IV in WorkPlace Training and Assessment and Diploma of Marketing from Barton TAFE (now Holmesglen).

Hi, I’m Jo. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I love spending time with friends, eating food I haven’t cooked, drinking gin and helping people unlock their highest potential in life.
I am proud to have been nominated by Business Chicks for the Victorian Telstra Business Awards in 2015, I have one gorgeous daughter and I am unashamedly obsessed with my dogs, Buddy and Mabel.
In my downtime, I’m a crime podcast junkie and I’ve been lucky up to get up close and personal with the beautiful mountain gorillas of Uganda. Although I paid the price of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and was held at gunpoint by a Ugandan soldier. It was a still a travel tale win!
